About Isaan 

Isaan is another region in Thailand located in the northeast. It is rich in tourist attractions created by nature and is home to one of the most important cultural heritage sites certified by UNESCO, Ban Chiang Archaeological Site. There is also a distinctive culture in terms of traditions, beliefs and food. The famous and well-known food that I recommend you to try once is Somtum (papaya salad).
